I imported a shared routine but nothing happened

When a Mighty Nimble share link doesn't open in the app as expected.

If you tapped a Mighty Nimble share link and the app didn't open (or it opened but the import sheet didn't appear), a few things could be going on.

The app isn't installed

The link is a Universal Link β€” it only opens in-app if the app is installed. Tap Open in Mighty Nimble on the web page. If you don't have the app, you'll be sent to the App Store to install it. Once installed, the link should then open correctly.

The link opened in a browser instead of the app

Sometimes iOS doesn't intercept Universal Links β€” often after installing the app for the first time, or if the link was tapped from certain apps (Notes, some email clients). Try:

  • Copying the link and pasting into Safari. From Safari, tap the smart banner at the top that says "Open in Mighty Nimble."

  • Long-press the link and choose "Open in Mighty Nimble" if the option appears.

You're trying to import your own routine

The app blocks this. If the link is for a routine you published yourself, it's already in your account β€” there's nothing to import.

You've already imported this routine before

The app blocks duplicate imports. Look for it in your folders β€” you likely have it already.

The shared routine was unpublished

If the creator unpublished the routine, the link won't work anymore. You'll see a "not found" message. Ask them for the current version.

Still broken

Contact support with:

  • The link you tried to open

  • A screenshot of what you saw

  • What iPhone and iOS version you're on

We'll chase it down.
