I can't generate a routine — "high demand" or daily limit message

If a generation fails, the message tells you what's happening.

"We're experiencing high demand"

The AI service is temporarily throttled. Wait a minute or two and retry. This isn't personal — it affects all users briefly.

"Daily limit reached"

You've used your allowance for today.

  • Free: 3 generations per day

  • Plus: 20 generations per day

  • New account (first 24 hours): unlimited

The limit resets daily at local midnight. See Daily limit reset at a weird time for timing details.

Options when you hit the limit

  • Wait until midnight. The counter resets.

  • Upgrade to Plus for 20/day. See Free vs. Plus.

  • Edit an existing routine instead of generating a new one — edits are not counted as new generations.

Failed generations don't count against your limit

If a generation errors out (moderation block, server error), it does not consume a daily slot. Only successfully completed generations count.

"Your request couldn't be processed due to content guidelines"

This is different — see "Content guidelines" error on a prompt.
