Plus is available as a monthly or annual subscription. New users get a free trial on the annual plan.

Where to see prices

Prices vary by region. Open Settings → Plus card (or the paywall that appears when you hit a limit) to see your local price in your local currency. The App Store handles all regional pricing.

Monthly vs. annual

  • Monthly — billed every month

  • Annual — billed once a year, cheaper per month than monthly. Shows the savings versus the monthly rate.

Pick what fits. You can switch later.

The free trial

New users on the annual plan get a 7-day free trial:

  • Full Plus access during the trial

  • After the 7 days, you're billed the annual price automatically

  • Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged

The trial is a standard Apple Subscription trial — no weird terms, no opt-in to extra things.

Cancel before the trial ends

See Managing your subscription. Canceling stops future billing but you keep Plus access through the end of the trial or billing period.

Monthly doesn't include a trial

Only the annual plan offers the trial. If you want to try Plus without the longer commitment, start on annual — you can cancel during the trial and not be charged.

Auto-renewal

Both monthly and annual auto-renew by default — standard Apple Subscription behavior. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time in Settings → Manage Subscription (in the App Store).
