How folders work

Folders organize routines by context — travel, gym, morning mobility — and can carry their own settings.

A folder is a container for routines that share a context. Think of it as a "mode" — when you're in a folder, new routines you generate belong to that folder and inherit its settings.

Why folders matter more than you'd expect

Most apps use folders just for tidiness. In Mighty Nimble they're load-bearing — each folder can override your profile. That means:

  • A Travel folder set to "bodyweight only, 20-minute max"

  • A Gym folder with full equipment and higher intensity

  • A Morning Mobility folder focused on flexibility, Beginner level

  • A Client: Sarah folder with her specific injuries and equipment

When you generate a routine inside any of those folders, the AI uses that folder's settings, not your base profile.

Creating a folder

Go to the folders view, tap + Add Folder, give it a name, and choose whether to use your default profile or customize it for this folder.

Plus unlocks unlimited folders. Free includes one folder (your default).

Switching between folders

Tap a folder to enter it. Any new routine you create inside lives in that folder. You can also move existing routines between folders.

Editing folder settings

Open the folder, tap the settings icon, and adjust. Changes apply to future generations — existing routines in the folder aren't re-generated.
